Juneau! Events & Coaching (August 5-7)

Juneau is where Joyce found her own voice and artist heart. She'd moved there from New York and (re)discovered her true expression and calling as an artist.  It's really where the roots and network of the "Fill the Room" movement began. Many of the stories within the recently released book are connected to the people and communities within Juneau! Two Events & In-Person Coaching Sessions available! Thursday, August 6 | 5:30-7:30pm | Hearthside Joyce will be hosting an interactive book signing event at downtown's Hearthside: the merchant’s wharf building now, right on the water, near the cruise ships. Come by and chat, and buy a copy of the book and take away some fun merch!

Friday, August 7 | 6:30-8:00pm | McPhetres Hall The main "Fill the Room" event of the week will take place at the beloved McPhetres Hall. McPhetres is a hub for many artists groups in the community. Following a tragic fire in 2006, grants powered by community support helped to rebuild the space and make it even more vibrant than ever. This event will be even more interactive: inviting many forms of expression, story telling, readings from Joyce and other community members, as well as book signing and sales.
